LA MESA, CA - (12-12-07) Authorities in La Mesa are asking for the public's assistance identifying a bank robbery suspect. The robbery happened at the Mission Federal Credit Union Tuesday around 2:45pm. The bank is located at 3815 Avocado Boulevard. The white male suspect (surveillance photos above) walked to the front of the line, then walked up and handed the teller a note demanding money. He also displayed a handgun. The suspect is in his 30's, 6', 160 lbs with blonde hair.Anyone with information about this person is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-TIPS.
