SAN DIEGO, CA - (12-6-07) A sewage spill in Point Loma forced officials to post signs warning of contaminated water. The spill was first noticed during routine inspection of the ocean outfall pipe at the Point Loma Wastewater Treatment Plant. Officials are not sure how much sewage flowed into the ocean. Signs warning of contaminated water will remain until samples indicate the water is safe for recreational use.
