SAN DIEGO, CA - (1-19-08) A carjacking suspect was killed after crashing the car shortly after he allegedly took it from a woman in the Bay Terraces area Saturday. The victim told investigators that she was approached by two Hispanic males in the area of Woodman and Alta View shortly after 11pm. According to the victim, the males forced her to the ground, then took her keys and car. An officer observed the car flee. The car crashed shortly after leaving and the driver/suspect was ejected. The driver/suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. The second suspect was hospitalized with head and shoulder injuries.
