SAN DIEGO, CA - (1-16-08) Authorities reported a sewage spill in Mission Beach Wednesday. The spill happened at Mission Boulevard and Salem Court shortly after 2pm. 1500 gallons of sewage flowed into a storm drain that empties into Mission Bay. Signs warning of contaminated water were posted in south Sail Bay and the east side of Santa Clara Point. The signs will remain until samples indicate the water is safe for recreational use.
