police were able to reunite the parents with their child. Officers were first contacted Tuesday morning by officials at McAuliffe Elementary School reporting the unattended child. Officers took custody of the child and spent the day searching for parents. Around 5:40pm police received a call from Laura Palos-Martinez, the owner of "Laura's Day Care" indicating that a child had been missing for 10 minutes. Officers determined that the missing child was in fact the child they had found earlier in the day. Laura Palos-Martinez was arrested and charged with Child Endangerment.
