SAN DIEGO, CA - (1-16-08) The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for the San Diego County valleys. High pressure over the Great Basin is generating offshore winds. The wind will be especially strong below canyons and passes. Wind gusts up to 50mph are forecasted. The strongest winds are expected overnight Wednesday and early Thursday. The advisory is set to expire Thursday at 8pm.
