SAN DIEGO, CA - (1-14-07) A local teacher was charged Monday with possession of child pornography. Edgardo Vilas is a teacher at Rancho Del Campo, Juvenile Court and Community School. According to the US Attorney's office, Mr. Vilas was in possession of two images "depicting a female minor’s genital area." The investigation was initiated after it was learned that Mr. Vilas had signed up for a child pornography website.
