VEGAS, NV - SDSU met North Carolina in the 7th annual Las Vegas Bowl December
19th. 40+ MPH winds throughout the game made play tricky for both
squads. The Aztecs drew first blood on a 60 yard fumble recovery and run
by Lonny Mitchell but that would be their only touchdown. North Carolina
went on to win by a score of 20-13. This was the first post-season appearance
for the Aztecs since 1991.
