Missing 2 Year Old Boy

SAN DIEGO, CA - Authorities are searching an area near Balboa Park Thursday after the stepfather of a two year old boy reported the boy missing. The stepfather (photo bottom right) told police that he left two year old Jahi Turner (photos above) at the play ground near 28th and Ceder Street, while he went about 100 yards away to get a soda. He told police that when he returned, the boy was missing. Authorities searched the area through the afternoon and into the night. The boy's mother is in the navy. She had been at sea for the past few days, but returned after receiving the information.

Search for Jahi Turner

SAN DIEGO, CA - Police believe that two year old Jahi Turner was abducted or is the victim of a crime. That announcement came after extensive search of the area his stepfather, Tieray Jones, reported the boy missing. Authorities are looking for a woman (composite below) that Mr. Jones said was at the park at the time of Jahi's disappearance. Anyone with information about this woman or the whereabouts of Jahi is asked to call police at 619-531-2000. Authorities did not say why, but they also impounded Jahi's parent's car.

His stepfather told police that the boy disappeared while the two were at Balboa Park on Thursday. Police have not allowed the boy's parents to return to their South Park home. Saturday they continued their investigation inside the apartment.

Jahi's Parents Speak Out
