Colorado beat Washington 33 to 21 in the 19th annual Holiday Bowl Monday night at Jack Murphy Stadium.
The Huskies started strong, but then back came the Buffaloes. Koy Detmer was 25 of 45 and threw for 371 yards. He was the games MVP.
