SAN DIEGO, CA. - San Diego Police are assisting detectives from both Minneapolis and Chicago. They are looking for Andrew Phillip Cunanan. Cunanan is suspected in two
Minneapolis murders and one in Chicago over the last two weeks.
Cunanan is described as a white male, 27 years old, 5'9", 160 pounds, brown hair and
brown eyes, he is believed to live in the San Diego area. Anyone with information
about this man is asked to call San Diego Police at 531-2000. 6-9-97

FBI's Top Ten

SAN DIEGO, CA - At a Thursday morning news conference FBI Special Agent in Charge,
William D. Gore, announced that San Diego resident Andrew Phillip Cunanan was placed on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List. He has been charged with a Minnesota murder earlier this year and is also sought for questioning in three other murders.
Cunanan is the first person from San Diego to be placed on the Ten Most Wanted list.

Cunanan Suspected in Versace Murder

MIAMI BEACH, FL. -
San Diego resident, suspected serial killer and one of the FBI's 10 most wanted, Andrew Phillip Cunanan, is believed to be responsible for the murder of world famous designer Gianni Versace Tuesday.

According to Miami Beach Police, Versace was returning home from a nearby restaurant around 9am when a man described as a young white male, in a light gray or white shirt, white cap, and wearing a backpack shot him. Investigators also say they found a truck nearby that had been stolen after a murder that Cunanan is suspected of in New Jersey.
   Cunanan is either suspected in or wanted for questioning in five different murders over the last few months.
   Andrew Phillip Cunanan should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with

Gay Pride Parade

SAN DIEGO, CA. - Organizers of the Gay Pride Festival, along with local and federal law enforcement held a community forum Tuesday to discuss Andrew Cunanan and security concerns at this weekend's Gay Pride Festival. Dozens of journalists from all over the world packed the Lesbian and Gay Men's Community Center at 3916 Normal Street, but not much new information was revealed. 7-23-97

Cunanan Found Dead MIAMI BEACH, FL. - According to a Police spokesperson, the body found inside a Miami Beach houseboat Wednesday was that of San Diego resident and suspected spree killer Andrew Phillip Cunanan. Cunanan was apparently the victim of a self inflicted gunshot wound. 7-24-97
